THE OPPORTUNITY
At Method1, we had the opportunity to build Cape Tide from the ground up, no name, no identity, no clear place in the world. Our challenge was to create something distinctly ownable while carving out a meaningful presence in an already crowded RTD market.
THE SOLUTION
We brought Cape Tide to life by rooting it in Cape Cod culture, building a brand around friendship, summertime, and authenticity that felt both familiar and distinctly ownable. Through bold packaging, a social-first mindset, and the introduction of Alfie the seal as a memorable brand asset, we created a world that could stand out in a crowded RTD space.
By focusing on a strong regional launch, Cape Tide quickly gained traction, expanding to 250 stores, increasing production 5x, earning a Gold Medal from RTD Magazine, and becoming a distributor’s premier product.
